When she heard about the dire Wendigo, an undead man-bear who had been terrorizing the travelers of Blackmont Rise, Valeria set off to find it both to protect the innocent from the terrible beast, and to meet one more legendary creature.
But what she would find was not at all what she expected.
Hey! This is in the "to be critiqued" folder so I hope you don't mind a lil' bit - it's a great piece, so here are my suggestions!
1: I understand that it is a stylized character, so nobody's expecting realistic anatomy - however, Valeria's legs feel a bit too long in comparison to her upper body. If it's a perspective thing, then it isn't *quite* reading.
2: I also can see you wanted us to focus on the characters but the environment that is in the foreground (the ledge just behind Valeria) would probably benefit from a little more detail and crispness - this'll help give the piece more depth (the mountains and such in the background don't need anything because of how far away they are).
All in all, really fun character design, great attitude. Keep it up!
It's the shoes, since her head, hands and feet are big in relation to her body they add 1/4 of a head to the leg past her heel. Of course she's not in academic canon, there is no reason for a cartoon character to look like Uomo Vitruviano, but even if she's barely 6 heads tall she does follow the 3/3 rule all canons follow.
And I agree about the ledge, I'm working on cartooning the backgrounds further to better relate to the cartoon characters.

Thanks for the critique
I've never seen that before.
But I gotta admit that I got distracted (as always...) by the cute girl
Still, they're both really good character designs
