Description

Celebrating the incoming end of winter, a sort of gothic-y piece. My first try at stained glass made with Watercolour + Ink + Photoshop + SAI.

This is also a very soft homage to two of my favourite Magic: The Gathering card arts ever, can you guess wich ones they are? I bet you cant. ;P

Valeria, my creator-owned character, is not really an angel or a swordswoman, she's just an adventurer-archaeologist of sorts with lots of curiosity for finding out the truth behind the legends she has heard, and with wanderlust in her heart, she'll go anywhere to find the truth.

Oh, and she really loves swords :ahoy:

Faves are welcome, comments are encouraged, I really want to know what's on your mind.

Critiquing for <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/g/o/g…" alt=":icongoldencritique-club:" title="GoldenCritique-Club"/>

Hey, this is pretty cool! I love the stained glass look, it gives a strong and confident look to your picture!

A few things: Her boobs are too far apart <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/m/m…" width="15" height="15" alt=":x" title=":x (Mad)"/> her waist is curved in a strange way, and her left arm is a little too long. Try straightening it in your mind, and it'll fall a little too long past her mid thigh. But other than that her body looks great, its a fun pose too!

Her hair is a really nice color, but I think this is an area that you can grow in. Be daring, don't just keep her hair locked in the lineart you created. It'd be really neat if you could make some of the pieces show clearly their placement. You know, have a few fly-away pieces. Kind like this dude did --> [link]

And that's it! Super duper awesome piece! I love your work!
